The Wells Nelson Club was originally founded under the auspices of The Red Cross. The exact date is lost in the mists of time. We became independent of The Red Cross early in 1975.
We Celebrated our 50th birthday at the beginning of 2025.
The Club has seen many changes over the years. We are a friendly and welcoming group who meet on the first and third Thursday of the month at The Old Cottage Hospital in Wells where we have lots of different activities. These vary from interesting speakers to games afternoons and strawberry tea to trips out for afternoon tea or fish and chips. In December we go out for Christmas lunch, and we also have a Christmas Party.
We are always happy to welcome new members and are a friendly and welcoming group. Please see our contact page and diary for more information.
